Beautiful clear night for a moon lit run on the river trails. An owl swooped out of a tree, and flew just above head height down the trail before climbing above the trees. When I returned through that section of trail it was still circling above casting its moon shadow over the trail. I love running on the trails at night. It is best to leave the headlamp at home. They ruin everything.
