Nearly called it quits after the first 500 m, but I feel ok now many hours later and pleased I ignored the initial toe pain. I stuck to flat roads. Downhills would be a bad idea. Feeling like I should be back at it another week or so.
I don't think my toe is broken. Still sore but getting better and swelling is improving. When I broke my finger, it was very swollen and very painful for the first couple of weeks. I think it is a soft tissue strain or tear. Flutter kick hurts a little bit, but strangely whip kick was ok, so I'm pulling or doing breaststroke.
