Wavy tonight. Sunny and the water temperature was decent. Air was cool but I cannot complain.

Great run. Very few people out at this hour despite the wonderful conditions. Also, a new and wonderful experience for me as I ended the run. Two elderly women were walking towards me on a sidewalk. One of them raised her sunglasses to get a better look and then cat called me! Brilliant! I've still got it, folks! For one brief moment I felt like an extra in a golden girls episode. Life is good.

Out earlier so I could use the track before the highschool opened. Pitch dark when I left the house, and dawn by the time I got going. I don't do much of a warm up for these workouts: lazy bike ride to the track and then jog 400 m. The 1st 400 is always slow, and I wonder if I'll even be able to finish the workout. After that the pace picks up and goes pretty good. I'm not sure if this method is recommended but it seems to work ok for me.
