Hiking 2:00:00 [1]
shoes: Zamberlan Hiking Boots

A little bit of hiking in the QE2 Wildlands. The snow is a lot deeper than I expected up there.

Seaton Trail end to end. This is the fourth consecutive year I've hiked the length of this trail.

Hiking 2:30:00 [1]
shoes: Zamberlan Hiking Boots

Easy hike along what I call the "Seaton Trail Extension"...south of where the Trail starts. Walked down along the West Duffins Creek, down to where it meets the East Duffins Creek. It is neat to compare the differences in suspended sediment in these two bodies of water as they combined. Then I walked up East Duffins for a bit, climbed a HUGE tree, and walked back to my car through some subdivisions. These creeks are up quite high, but strainers and large boulders would make it a tough paddle. As for hiking, it was surprisingly good and not muddy.

Paddling 1:30:00 [3]

Spring run on the Credit River with Mick. A nice, challenging run. We tried to stay out of the "big shit" but we still almost swamped once, and again when we shipped a lot of wate going over the ledges in the golf course. The Credit at Norval gauge was at 3.28...pretty ideal conditions. Not actually sure how long it took. Once we were in the flats, we paddled out to the very cool abandoned ship that has been incorporated into the breakwater.

Paddling 45:00 [3]

A wild paddle on the Oshawa Creek. This was probably at the limit of my skill, and there were sweepers. Paddled from the Midtown Mall to just above Simcoe @ Valley. The Oshawa Creek at Oshawa gauge was at 2.50...good depth.

Swimming race 8:30 [4] 0.38 km (22:22 / km)

Gym tri.

Stretching 10:00 [1]

10.

Cycling race 22:30 [4] 10.0 km (2:15 / km)

Running race 14:30 [4] 2.5 km (5:48 / km)

I started off slowly and built up, which is something I am only capable of doing on a tread mill. As a result, I probably could have gone faster.

Stretching 10:00 [1]

Strength/Weight 1:00:00 [5]

Abs, bis and tris. Condensed, compared to normal.

Running 27:00 [2] 4.82 km (5:36 / km)

Very easy running. It seemed ok.

I'm desperately trying to avoid being decimated by Laura in the SL10Km. Must. run. faster.
