Skiing 6:00:00 [3]

Skiing near Banff.

Thursday Nov 10, 2005 #

Note

This has been a poor week so far in terms of Xercise. I haven't done hills, tempo, or long yet this week. I need to refocus.

Swimming 30:00 [2] 1.0 km (30:00 / km)

Frustrating skills session. I have trouble taking breaths on my right side, and I tried to address this.

Cycling 33:00 [3] 15.0 km (2:12 / km)
shoes: Cannondale Bike

Inside loops @ Woodbine. I stopped when it got dark. I would have liked to do more, as I haven't done much biking recently, and the season is nearing its end.

Running warm up/down 30:00 [1] 4.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Saucony Omni 4

Running intervals 20:00 [5] 2.0 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Saucony Omni 4

Tree to Tree intervals @ Woodbine.

Swimming 49:26 [4] 2.08 km (23:46 / km)

I'm very happy with this swim, the core of which was 2x1000m. My longest sets yet. My arms felt a little heavy at the end, and my technique started to fall apart, but I feel like this was a milestone.

Hiking 3:45:00 [1] 13.0 km (17:18 / km)
shoes: Zamberlan Hiking Boots

Hiking on Bruce Trail north of Burlington with Mick and UltraLaura. This section of trail was only marginally beautiful. It was nice to be out hiking in the fall. It was raining, and I love hiking in the rain. Laura announced that she plans to do the SportingLife 10k in the spring. I plan to destroy her.
