Hiking 3:00:00 [1] 13.5 km (13:20 / km)
shoes: Raichle Kootenay 5

Bruce Trail # 11. Laura, Mick, and I hiked added about 12.8km to our Bruce Hike total. I liked this section. The crazy terrain around Speyside is fantastic, and the ridge near Hilton Falls is also nice.

Cycling 1:10:00 [2]
shoes: Cannondale Bike

Yesterday was too busy for exercise, so I took some time this morning to ride my bike out along Bloor to Maple Grove. Will this be the last day of the year for cycling? Maybe. I wore long johns and long john top, along with lycra top, neck-tube-belaclava-thing and gloves. My toes still got a little cold.

Note

Chlorine in the pool has really irritated the skin on the inside of my nose, so I will take a break from swimming until I get nose plug, new pool, or stronger nose.

Hiking 20:00 [1] 2.0 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Garmont trail hikers

A quick "hike-jog" thing around a trail at Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump. I liked the fact that I could visit half of the site without paying.

Running 55:00 [3] 9.5 km (5:47 / km)
shoes: Saucony Omni 4

Late afternoon run in the beautiful Old Man River valley in Lethbridge. I will call this the Coulee-Coalbank-Cottonwoods route. Some fun switchbacks and fantastic scenery! The wind was gusting at 90km/h, and the temperature was ~4C--my fingers got quite cold when the sun went down and I could barely use my hands to open the car door. Check this route out on gmap with the satellite photo http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=543854

Skiing 2:45:00 [1]

I went downhill skiing at Lake Louise with uncle Bruce. Good Times. I've estimated what I take to be the actual time spent going downhill.
