A little ease into erg row

Ice during macgyver.

-650 calories. Need to start calcium supplements as soon as I find a Meijer. Bike assembly the weekend, maybe I'll pick up a cheap road bike to screw around on as well.

Orienteering 1 [3]
shoes: Roclites 295 2

My fears are realized: the occasional after run shin ache now hurts while running, with some sharpness. Stress reaction or stress fracture? Does it matter when the rx is the same? Time to start canceling races. Do you bother with a doctor visit when it'll take forever to get an appointment, a $$$ for an MRI, all to tell you, "sit around for 6-8 weeks, then run 3 mpw and maybe work up to 10 mpw after a while."

On the upside, the avoided travel and race time can now be applied to the crushing load of inscrutable homework.

Bonus: my hotel room bathroom ceiling is leaking

Note

At Extreme O, I won short course B, but missed having the fastest time between A and B by a decent (20 minute) amount.

I suspect fitness was the biggest difference, although perfect running would close the gap a bit (but as Waller notes, the other guy could have mistakes to take out too) given my time loss on: corridor o (reentrant east of corridor reentrant), man made cave (couldn't see flag, didn't immediately crawl), aerial pickup overrun, aerial control bad bearing, and water cart water loss and slowness.

Fun stuff!
