Note

Corn Maze turned out well - whenever your attendance is perhaps slightly lower in quantity, it often makes it up for it in quality and it was a great, enthusiastic group who rolled with the corn maze experience, which included a sometimes not working #74, which I had successfully tested the night before. While deployed, it started beeping itself, but at some point it resolved itself.

The only downside is I did not run in the corn maze!

Note

WT Splits

Teams punched in and out of TA, so you'd expect to see:

* three generally short legs for the sort of prologue-ish run

then TA1

then a few long splits

Then a short split for another TA, rinse repeat.

For study of why fast teams are fast, compare Snowpants TAs to the rest of the field.

Note

There are veins once more in my feet. still not 100%, but improving. Subsiding to a level that life's other annoyances are more pressing.

Cascadias? Cleat slippage? Portaging? Insufficient training? Cold, wet feet for 20 hrs plus the stress? It's a new one anyway. Closest previous sensation was getting sand in my shoes under the base of the toes at Thunder Rolls and hiking too long on it before emptying.
