Not too bad, considering the heat and other variables.

When you're out of shape and see the light's going to turn red:

Walking 1:00:21 intensity: (16:30 @0) + (43:51 @1) 2.87 mi (21:02 / mi) +14m 20:43 / mi
ahr:93 max:115 shoes: Brooks Ghost Swagger

Did math wrong, didn't quite get to three. Monkey was awake for a good half of it, hopefully that translates to the third night in a row (would be a record) with ~8 hrs between feedings.

Pushing a stroller, but forgot the pack. Probably not for the worst, 0-a lot of concrete pounding might not be the best anyway. w/ spouse this time. Sort of a tour of houses we looked at but didn't buy.

Trying to see if smaller changes will move the needle. With Harvey in stroller and 10 lb pack.

Nice teammates, but not my finest moments.

First world problem: because of inefficiencies in my approach to happy healthy Wee Man care, I was too big and too out of shape. Also, it turns out my pitch black USGS game is pretty weak, missed two being short (although got one on another crack).

Bike math wasn't adding up, especially with zero power, and at the point we realized it, the finish was just four miles west, entirely too easy to bail. This was the same last few miles where I failed in my first 24+ hour race, arriving just five minutes after the cut off after a hot midday hike. A cursed area!

Here you can see the HR was just too high too slow.
