Well about two years late by AP standards I'm sure, but I got the two year old out into a tent finally.
What better way to break in the freshly reseeded yard than putting a tent on it:
Setting the tone...driveway canoeing before backyard camping.
Some tactical errors were made. #1...The 4th of July is noisy when your house is near a parking lot and fields. But by 11 pm, most of the firework noise was dying down and Harvey had explored enough of the tent to fall asleep.
He wasn't ready to leave in the morning! It took some coaxing to head inside for pancakes and sausage.
