The drizzle noise scared me off biking, as I am guessing my steel bike is not frame saved. I have some inclination to acquire a geared aluminum bike for winter use, then move the steel bike to the trainer...

I walked over to the rc cart hill and did 10 or 11 hikes up that, trying not to clomp, but rather be quite and smooth.

Then walked over to the gravel road, and jogged that. Then walked home.
