I channeled my inner Wout and got the free bike plus tag a long minus Harvey to hit 22 mph on the speed checker sign on the slight downhill into down. Definitely no head wind.

Getting to swim class is not impossible, just not ideal as there is no kid+bike friendly infrastructure at the light, and then just enough traffic on the cross road to be a pain to wait. Solo, I could rip it, but I don't take the same gaps with Harvs.

FAIL! I failed to check the weather. We got caught in a downpour which was fine by me but freaked out Harvey, so we sought shelter under a restaurant awning and radioed for support. He was getting a bit cold, even though it's like 80. I need to be marginally more careful.

That has got to be an outbound record. Things were going well, until someone was not thrilled with the enclosed option. I preferred to keep him dry until arrival, and then the general sunscreening process takes much longer than it seems like it should. Gave it and got favorable lights.
