skied the lakes up to the Kenwood cafe with Kari and Syd in the Kelty....also had 30 additional minutes of hiking and skiing on skied in tracks I did not count due to a HR under 100.....

trend weight 172.62....I am almost as svelte as Darryn.... : )

ran appx 10.2 miles in 1:51:21 with Team Ortho group up East river and back from Shriners hospital.....about 10 minute miles...maybe a bit over.....have a half marathon in 2 weeks with Kari...

I have to say that the pubic bone inflammation has kicked up again (its been around for close to 8 years or so...and my quads were hurting pretty good at the end of the run...aerobically I am fine there is always various pain that come with running.....just accommodate it, try to be careful, and not to make it worse and push it to a full fledged injury....it does tend to get in the way of fully enjoying runs..........

Went from Wirth Lake to up to the front 9 for a couple loops then back......surprisingly a bit icy and it was difficult to get any kick on some uphills even with the waxless shorties....

LOI bike trail loop in 29:30....Kari and I are doing a half marathon in a little over 2 weeks so I need to run a few times to help get used to the jarring....we are running it for training but I still need a bit of prep so it doesn't kill my legs...

did loops of the Par 3 at Wirth and edited comp loop taking some of the new cutoffs for the JO courses....grooming?: incredible...world cup quality....this level of grooming improves you technique 10%....perfect corduroy, firm wide fast level skate deck....no wonder all those elites at the front of races look so good...with grooming like this you minimize any balance challenges....

the staging they have done looks really good also with the snow fences. flags, new signage and timing shack for Junior Olympics...

trend weight 172.96...drifting up the past week due to less training/calorie burn due to tapering for races...

took the weekend off from calorie counting due to be away from home and the race....back at it today.....

I have decided to continue calorie counting until I go under 171 on my trend weight for 3 days straight...this will create a cushion and I will likely end up a 172-3 to maintain...to do this I will need to get in 7 hour of training these next 3 weeks and limit calories to 2000/day...
