Note

some exercise bike for knee rehab but not enough resistance to make it aerobic....

knee is coming back quick. I just need to hold off on my normal training until I heal it effectively...my first physical therapy session yesterday....he said: "I have two types of clients, the one I know I am going to have to kick in the butt to do their rehab and the other...the person who I have to hold back because they will do to much to early.....which one do you think you are?".....ha!. He said" when you started talking about wanting to do a ski race on Jan 9th it was evident".

I am hoping to possibly ski by Jan 9th....will have to see how it goes, but I did have him ok my pull down-one legged rowing routine....build strength in double pole while I can if I cant use my legs....

2 min poling/1 min recovery x 7 ( working on double pole strength while I can't engage the knee)

Keeping it aerobic and not engaging the knee ( which feels pretty dang good)

Note

Surgery went well although they had to carve more out than expected..... I plan to be back doing something ASAP.....that will likely be my challenge, holding back, but I have a plan to work around this, I will work to minimize any loss of fitness......it really doesn't hurt that much

hitting it hard to try and pile up some hours before surgery tomorrow....despite knee surgery I still plan to get in 11 more hour to make my hour/day goal of training for 31 straight years....I will make it or go down swinging.....

I will see what I can do to knock out the last 11 hours....double poling with weights?, one legged rowing? everything is on the table and I plan to make it....anything that will get my self imposed requirement of a heart rate over 100 average for the session....
