Hiked off the Col Raiser lift from St Christina with Kari's mom and Sydney....
I was tired and the knee hurt but it was a great circular hike at the base of another set of dramatic jagged peaks....
Sydney got up close and personal with the grazing livestock....the flowers and the bugs....she hands on a cow, a donkey, and
we hit two mountain huts where I had a cappuccino, a Latte, and a big beer.....

The most amazing hike of my life.....the puez/odle circuit the hard way.....most people take the lift and hike around and down into the valley......
....wanting a challenge we did it the opposite way. We hiked into the valley from the car park in town.....and eventually up the side of the valley to complete a circuit ofon the rim of the valley and more....we then took the ski lift down....we did 1150 meters of climb and 9 miles....3,777 ft.
the climb out of the valley was gut wrenching for me. 2320 ft of elevation gain in about 1K!.....throw a bit of altitude in there and it no wonder it was a relentless climb......
my knee hurt but I did not let it stop me...it was doable even if the pain was constant and consistent but no regrets.....hopefully I can get it fully healed. but this hike was hard on it...
I can't express in to words the incredible views and scenery.....other worldly and overwhelming........Kari and I bot agreed it was the hike of our life....

Hike back to the car form the chair lift....included the hike form the parking garage in town on the hike but not this hike back to the car park.

Amazing views and hikes....most off the Resciesa tram with Kari, Karis mom, and Sydney...a bit more of the Seneca lift also....the scenery here is beyond words

Hike area of Salzburg Austria in the park area with the fortress....actually about a 5 hour hike but only counted some uphill parts...amazing area....knee was better but cant run without some p pain....
