8 x 2:30 w/2:30 recovery (lateral 5, level 20 hard, level 10 recovery)

HRA 138 for interval segment of 40:00...last interval from 125 to 164 HR....

good execution...this machine is excellent due to involving muscular endurance needed for nordic skiing...

did 20 min mild out...still moving along....

now time to recover and consolidate...tough work schedule next week (I hate when my full time job is actually fulll time) easy intensity workouts for the next week before a final dryland push for nordic ski season.....

Pole Hiking 2:03:14 [3]

Long easy but VO2 hills repeats incorporated...

I did a pole hike with a stretched out jogging motion to prep legs and bring up the HR on my long workout just a bit....required real concentration...successful on all fronts......126 HRA.....actually a very tough workout the last 30 minutes

but my knee was hurting the whole way...started out a 2 but evolved to a pain of 3......not sure I can do this type of workout very often

did 4 Brownie hills coming and 4 Brownie hills going.....8 total...about 1:50 uphill effort with HR to the top 140's
