Training Log Archive: O Steve!

we paddled and portaged as a family at Leb Hills canoe trail.....took us 4.5 hours to go out to Jensen Lake and back.....lots of lakes chocked with lily pads.....just put in time for the paddle we paddled at pace.....

listed 1.25 hours of hking for all the canoe carrying we had to do....

one last triathlon.....Hopkins Royal Super Sprint

....swim was listed as 100 yds.....likely an honest 175.....

Took off and squeezed between the competitors for a decent run in swim, run out to the top of the stairs......

although I was just going to ride along and enjoy I just cant forget I am on the clock and its a race...rode quick for a listed 4.5 mile bike....

again, I was just hoping not to walk but still put in a good effort to try to do my best....it was listed as 1.75 miles but I figure I was running about 10:30 pace.....no walking and coming down the chute I remembered all the times I had done this before.....

it was fun, felt good at the end and happy I was able to run the whole way.....

next up will be other events and adventures.....still lots to do....

quick shoe and run test for tomorrow

up to area 36 trails and the 45 north loppet trails....and back...

quick out and back in cedar to the east dock from south beach....a bit windy choppy..
