Got a FLAT !!! small nail stuck through my tire.

Was trying to make it to the gym, and then home for the tricksters but... Happy Halloween !!!! ....

euuuuuhh.
= change of plans

Instead of streaming to the gym before the tricksters came,
I made my way to the shop, walking and reading my book (with my bike... ) yes yes it takes talent.

In a quick save me move,
Bikes on Wheels slot me in and told me to come back in 45min. I sat and had a wonderful coffee (still reaading my book). All the while knowing that the tire will not be exploding in my face this time.

Got William Wallace the Whale back and
Made it to Dollorama, and home in time for the tricksters! hey!

Our pumkins were very sad! We cut them up last weekend (they looked great!!) and then.... We didn't put them out side...

So by Halloween they were a pile of mush! Orange mush at least (well for the most part)

1- walking lunges
2- overhead thrusters (tried to do them bar+20, but had to reduce to +10)
(pink bar is of yet unknown value)
3- pull ups (green band)
4- knee ups,... did not manage to touch elbows


pull ups, and knee ups killed. Forearms... grip weak... hahha.

Mad Dog Trail race:
Felt better than 2 years ago (in a longer wave) so overall position clearly was not better. Still do not know what that position was though!

(I was pretty much bottom of the pack, haha)
but I did win
DIRTIEST DOG !! hahahahaha

Soccer finals, we lost 4-1 ! clobbered really.
The other team was just stronger, more cohesive. Tweeked my ankle.
Limping now.

the Elm --> Salomon Store part was fine! .... but the Salomon Store --> Beresford part was torture!

Was very tired, had not eaten (yes yes, poor planning I know) and ended up with a bad case of the RT (aslo know as runners trots! youpi)
Barely made it home, man that was a hard way back,... and it was pretty cold too.
Must plan better!!!

Running (Trail run) 1:27:00 [4] 11.0 km (7:55 / km)

AWESOME! It was really fun!

I need a good headlamp! (mine just conks out all the time) and my bike light doesn't cut it.

The group is fun and wacky.
We ran out on what should be a trail, but it being fully covered in leaves it adds challenge, + the challenge of it being foresty spooky dark!!

Had a good chat with D and WandAR.

The first half was smooth sailing, knee started up 30min in but eased. I think if I concentrate on "FORM" the knee pain subsides.

That was fine, but cramp monsters started setting in... mostly right calve but also lefty... hum..
really had to ease off once they started acting up.

Delivered 40$ to Orienteer's house. Went to 3 cell phone stores for a Motorolla Battery!!
Got one, 25 bucks. I know have a phone again!

Nike Training group
It was a pretty sweaty and intense, did 1min max reps of a whole series of exercises. I can't do bicycle very well [or toes to hands] . Abs are a little weak :)
Made myself my own little sweat puddle. There was so many gals there! That is what you get when it is [Free] but ... well worth it still.

was matched up with someone that was not as strong, and so I did not get to go all out.
However, I was feeling pretty shitty so I took it as a good thing, I was just happy to be out!

30 hip dips
4 pistol squats !!!! each leg
10 bridges - each side (with butt dip)

PiriFormis stretch - 40s Feeeels gooodd!!

+30 calf raises (slow - 3sec+ at top)
+100 toe steps

warming up, with air squats and core (bananas and supermans!)

17 min of high intensity training:

3 series of max reps 1min each station (with 1min rest after 5 stations)
- squat +15 pds dumbell ( ?, ? , ? ) ---don t remember the count
- ring rows (17, 17, 15)
- side box jump over (~30 full cycles each time)
- push ups (12, 11, 9)
- Russian Twist ( ~55, 50, 45 )

I sweated so much! i was dripping everywhere... (the girls did not approve) haha

We started with squats, I didn't know what my max squat is, so i just added 20 or 10 lbs each round.

I finished with 5 reps at 125 lbs.

then the WOD:

reps 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
Toes to bar (but I did knee ups on the rings). My hands could not withstand hanging from the bar that long! i can only do a few actual toes to bar.

then handstand push ups, I tried to do these on the box head down but it was very hard for me and I was afraid of hurting myself. SS suggested I simply do normal push ups on a box, and that worked much better (although still very hard)!
It was fun, but I felt very tired! ! (physically)... progressing through this WOD was difficult. Finished last, dragging my feet, only cause i had nothing in the tank.

Angie

100 ring rows (65 lying down) the rest standing at angle
100 push ups (50 full - 50 on box)
100 sit ups (stopped shortly only once at 75)
100 air squats (fast and quick, no stopping)

the ring rows and push ups killed (i tried hard to do as much of them as a "full movement" as i could, but needed to use adaptation in the end.
