Grunty fen half , planned to run this to qualify for London next year. Nice flat course but ridiculously windy as exposed fen countryside , off steady , Aaron Scott , bombed off at start and kept going. Felt comfy in second untill 10 miles then five people passed me which was a bit depressing . Came back at a couple of them with a SPRINT in last mile but was hard for that time . Was slightly cheered at the end by chatting to guys around me who had all been sub 70 recently so hoping was a slow day .
Steady run , hot humid and windy , trying to get myself in the mood to race tomorrow, struggling . Seemed like a good idea when I entered . Need to run sub 75 for marathon qualification for London .
Easy run around great Barton. Finished with a walk home as Jodie twisted ankle , made a horrible crack . Torn ligaments rather than break is only slight positive . Gutted for her as she is just starting to get back into some proper running
Session around center parcs, 5,4,3 ,2,1,1,2,3,4,5 mins with half minutes recovery. Stiff back , going to have easy couple of days before half on Sunday
Steady run around Center Parcs, already recognize fellow morning runners . We nod smugly at each other, although I am only one without tiny bottle of water .
1 mile warm up the 3 mile hard, then 1 mile jog and 2 mile hard. Finally 1/5 mile jog and then 1 mile hard. Garmin total shite, will give it the excuse of bring in a wood. Already run too far in center parcs start feeling a bit confined quite quick .
