early run with Rob, out along Rivelin valley up Coppice Track. He carried on I turned back down Coppice track and down Rivelin. Knee feltt ok when we were going really steady and ok down Coppice track but progressively more sore towards work.

Early run before work, through Beely woods and along Middlewood road, loop around park to finish. Knee much better , but still not quite right odd sharp pain towrds the end. Will see if it reacts ok today. I was planning a hilly run tomorrow to test it out, but not much point if still sore. Still feel have not quite got normal control in right leg.
Good to be out running , Sheffield is one giant puddle at the moment.

swimming 35:00 [3]

Heeley baths for a swim. Did 50 lengths with 10 lengths leg kicks, has been a long time out of the water. Always hate the prospect of swimming , but actually ok once i am in the pool. Got schooled in the art of technique by a big fella who must have been about 60. His arms and legs were going about half the speed , but he still lapped me.

Early start again short of time gym involves too much faffing about. No Rizzle Kicks on ipod today just some good old rock from The Boss. Had to try and concetrate whilst an old guy chatted to me for 20mins whilst I nodded and panted and sweated away.

First gym session for about a year. Short of tim so did 5mins hard 2 mins rest for 35 mins. Listening to Suede on ipod with Rizzle Kicks for last 10mins. Never even heart of them until Mr Sprot gave me a lift back on Saturday and forced me out of my Indie classics comfort zone.,
