Running warm up/down 25:00 [1]
Orienteering race 37:30 5 km (7:30 / km)
Huskvarna -middle, Sipoo. Map with gps tracks:
http://www.routegadget.net/gpsoblog/cgi-bin/reitti...

I had sent my entry to this event before my leg injuries. Because event was so near where I live, I thought I should go there, jog a bit and at least get the map. Warm up was limbing at forest, but soon I could jog slowly with only little pain. So I started the race. I walked all uphills and didn't push much, especially on paths and roads I ran very slowly and carefully - I had some nasty feelings in hamstring on paths. Anyway I didn't make any mistakes and ended up 2nd only 41 sec behind Ikis. And I got black&decker cordless drill drive. Not bad.

I didn't make warm down - no need for that after such a slow running :)

We dropped Tomi home first and then dropped Hanna R to Paloheinä. Hanna had a very ugly and scary looking Scottish man with her. I think he may have been some sort of criminal, had kidnapped Hanna and used her as hostage. Anyway, I didn't speak much, stayed quiet and didn't ask anything about it, to not get involved into anything nasty. Scary...

Running 30:00 [1] 5 km (6:00 / km)
Evening run.

Saturday Aug 25

Running 29:09 [1] 5.59 km (5:13 / km)
AM run, a hesburger loop variation. Knee was stiff but ok, some feelings in hamstring if I ran faster than 5 min pace, but nothing serious. I'll be back in notime.
Running 57:33 [1] 9.5 km (6:03 / km)
Evening run to Pirkkola (WC) and back. Just barely made it there without having to be AOWN.

Friday Aug 24

Note
(rest day)
Knee hurts so much I can't walk well. I am not used to walk, yesterday's hike was too much. Just great...
C • This might help, for a while... 3

Thursday Aug 23

Hiking 2:00:00 [1] 13 km (9:14 / km)
ahr:90
I can walk with my hamstring. That's good. I may be able to tun in no time. I guess it was just a cramp and it is not much broken. Similar to the injury I had last winter.

Wednesday Aug 22

Note
Ok, the taking over AP task is done! There is three of us here.
edit: four.
C • Taking over... 5

Tuesday Aug 21

Running warm up/down 25:00 [1]
Orienteering race 4:10 [4]
(injured)
Firmaliiga (company league). Injured my hamstring right after first control, walked slowly back to car. I hope it's like the injury I had in Spain last winter and I'd be able to run pretty soon again. But it may be my next race is 25-manna.
Note

My plans for stopping logging here at AP are cancelled. Instead team Rastivarsat will take over AP.
C • Welcome back:) 3
