Trail Running race 1:24:00 [4] 12.7 km (6:37 / km) +220m 6:05 / km

It as a slow start which I as surprised and thankful for. Since the Sport and Enduro went off at the same time, I figured the short course people would set a tough pace. But I suppose all those people were in the first wave. I felt good for longer than I expected but there were lots of "breaks" on the technical uphill into Crawford and along the Bruce up there. Once I cleared the crowd and headed down and back up into Rattlesnake I started to suffer. And the last 3km was awful. I was tired and it was really technical with short ups and downs. I was surprised that I did as well as I did in the standings. 19th overall female and 7th in AG. Have to do it again next year and see how I do after lots of repeats of GP.
