Paris to Ancaster Mtn Bike Race
Cycling race (Mtn Biking) 2:26:15  60.0 km (2:26 / km)
Went fast and hard this year on a dry course. Felt good for most of it. The beginning actually felt easy riding in the wind tunnel created by the riders on the rail trail. As always the last climb is the 'insult to injury' portion of the race.
Hope everyone is OK from the car accident that happened near the highway crossing...and that the accident had nothing to do with the race but it looks like somebody tried to pull a blind U-turn to get out of the traffic caused by the race crossing the highway and got T-boned.

Aaron the task master took us out for a half hour run to 'loosen the legs' after the bike race. It took me the first 10 minutes to get my legs to stop trying to peddle.

It was a tough mental battle but I managed to force myself to keep up my leg power workout - despite pushing hard today in the P2A race. Actually felt pretty good. Getting my old strength back.
