Misc (Hockey) 1:33:00 [3]

Pick-up with lots of subs but pushed real hard when I was out there. Passes as an intervals work-out.

Cycling (Trainer) 47:13 [2] 20.75 mi (2:17 / mi)
ahr:127 max:142

Took it easy this morning as tapering and readying for the ATB starts in earnest.

Run tempo (Road) 56:00 [5] 11.5 km (4:52 / km)
ahr:177

Ran a last hard tempo to get ready for ATB. Felt pretty good as the legs held up not too bad and I felt real quick off the start.

From here in its runs at race pace to settle in for next Sunday.

Cycling warm up/down (Trainer) 5:00 [1]
ahr:110

A little 5 minute spin to warm up my legs before the run.

Misc (Hockey) 50:00 [3]

First game of the playoffs and only 8 on the bench for a game on a large ice surface. Good workout. Good game as we won and I scored to start another streak.....I hope.

Run (Road) 36:34 [3] 6.25 km (5:51 / km)
ahr:155

The wind was howling this morning - I think the strongest wind I've ever run in. Took it pretty easy and just tried to loosen my legs up. Plan is for a tempo run Thursday and then a short longrun Saturday at race pace and then taper into ATB.

Misc (Hockey) 1:01:00 [3]

Felt great on the ice tonight. Lots of energy and quickness.

Cycling (Trainer) 1:06:11 [2] 30.75 km (2:09 / km)
ahr:137 max:156

Felt fine putting in 30k on the trainer after hockey. Didn't push too hard.

Weights (Upper/Lower Body) 1:16:16 [2]
ahr:126 max:163

Once again combined my upper and lower body weights into a single work-out. Went pretty well. My strength has stopped increasing much as I have focused on loosing a few extra pounds. Pushed the legs hard and felt pretty strong.

Run long (Road) 1:37:23 [4] 18.75 km (5:12 / km)
ahr:172

Pushed today to try and run full distance at race pace for the ATB. I am hoping to run 5:00 - 5:05 / k for the ATB so my pace was a little off the back half as my legs tired but I am feeling pretty confident that with proper tapering I should have a good shot at 2:30 for the race.

Cycling (Road/Trail) 2:16:50 [3] 52.24 km (2:37 / km)
ahr:145

It felt great to finnally ride out doors and leave the friggin' trainer behind for atleast 1 day. Did one of my standard routes out and around the Humber trail. I took it fairly easy after this mornings hard run and so was 10 minutes or so slower than I was last summer but not bad for a first out door ride.
