Franklin Lake loop with Flink. First real exercise since last weekend. Temp was about 20-25 degrees lower than it has been all week.

Bike Commute 40:00 [2] 8.0 mi (5:00 / mi)

Bike Commute 30:00 [3] 5.0 mi (6:00 / mi)

East Bank to St. Paul Campus and back.
Got scolded by UMN Police for failing to stop at a stop sign. Ooops.

Sunday Jul 17, 2005 #

Row 45:00 [1]

Temps in the 90's.
Helped with Learn to Scull.
Bowed 4X with Laura and 2 novices. It was a tough day to learn to scull-strong wind from the south made for really crappy water.

Other 1.0 mi ( / mi)

Store-O at the Mall of America. We made a desperate decision to get out of the heat and headed to the MOA. Spiked control #1 (Lego Land). Got off course heading to control #2 (Caribou Coffee) but located control #3 (Foot Locker) in the process. Returned to last known point (Escalator at Food courtt) and reattacked to Control #2.
All in all a pretty good day. Tough course with many route choices. I think next time I'll be ready for the red course.

Adventure Race 7:50:00 [4] 45.0 mi (10:27 / mi)

Temps in high 90's.
Teammate struggled with leg cramps and the heat.
Definately was not our best showing.

Wednesday Jul 6, 2005 #

Row 45:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:38 / km)

Steady state to Ford and back. The current is still deceivingly strong which made for a good workout on the way back up.

Mtn Bike 2:50:00 [3] 12.0 mi (14:10 / mi)

Started on the Esker trail and hooked up with the Short Fat loop. Spent some time on the Ojibwe Trail and looped off on some of the North End snowshoe trails. Took the Birkie trail to the North End junction and locked the bikes up for a short jog.

trek 50:00 [3] 6.0 km (8:20 / km)

On Birkie Trail
