Skiing - Classic race 4:21:25 [4] 54.0 km (4:50 / km)

Birkie went better than I thought. Grooming was great, solid tracks, fast downhills (for the first half anyway) and was able to kick up the hills. My wax technician was right on which seemed to be key. People wither were kicking up the hills or struggling on any incline.

It was a great day: no wipe outs, saw Jasper working at the OO food station, beat my goal time by 9 minutes, and no frostbite.

Finish Time: 4:21:25.0

Skiing - Classic 40:00 [2] 5.0 km (8:00 / km)

Annual pre birkie ski with Jerritt. Started at Fish Hatchery and skied just past the cabin at Duffy's Field. The course wasn't groomed so it was really icy and sketchy tracks. Not the usual confidence boosting ski.

Back/hamstring still felt ok. Loaded up on Aleve and ibuprofen for the last few days.

Skied at Seeley Hills. First time on skis since the North End. Back/hamstring issues seems to be on the mend. No time to spare.
