Barr Trail to Elk Park Trail. Legs felt tired and a little bit sore. Not a lot of energy today--last week felt a bit better than today. NOT able to run the entire time, as Barr trail has several steep sections that make running the entire time very challenging. I ran what I could, and ended up with a similar running pattern as that of last week, when i ran half of the hills over the course of the entire run. With how I felt today, if I had pursued running the entire time, I would not have been able to complete the entire 4 hour workout.

Running (Uphill Tempo) 1:35:00 [4] 10.6 mi (8:58 / mi)

Uphill Tempo Run. Starting at Balancing Rock in Garden of the Gods, 15:00 warm up up Rampart Range Rd, then 45 min. continued up Rampart Range Rd. at tempo pace.Run back down Rampart for cool down. Averaged 9:45 per mile pace on uphill climb, and 7:45 per mile on downhill cool down.
