Cross Country 44:02 [3] 5.0 mi (8:48 / mi)
shoes: MIzuno Alchemy 11

Practice at Black Creek today. Did the 3milesd of the course, then the 2nd and 3rd mile to complete the run. Followed the run with 8 strides, two of which were up the "big hill" and two of which down it. Colder than I thought, but a good run.

Cross Country intervals 28:44 [4] 3.0 mi (9:35 / mi)

Easy workout after Basil yesterday. Did first and third miles of the course at tempo, with 4x 400m in between. Structure of the workout was cool, because Coach Lyons had the slower folk run first, and the faster in the back, so we would all end at relatively the same time. Pretty cool, surprisingly.

Times for tempo: 6:34, 6:18

Times for 400s are as follows:

Race race 19:00 [5] 3.1 mi (6:08 / mi)
shoes: NIke Waffle XC Gen 1

Basil Marella Part Deux. Pretty solid race. PR'd by 59 seconds from the beginning of the season. Actually, it was one of the best feeling races I've had for a while. A little bummed I didn't get under 19, but John's mom clocked me in at 18:59, so I don't know who to believe.

Easy run with Ray and Ben. Nothing much. Didn't get in a run the day before, and I was kinda mad about that, but whatever. Came back to find the girls looking like a bakery.
