Orienteering race (DVOA: FC N, Green) 1:42:52 [3]*** 6 km (17:09 / km) +100m 15:50 / km
spiked:10/13c shoes: VJ O-shoes
Slow. 3 major relocations for maybe 10 minutes total. Coughing, hacking, and farmer blows the whole way.

I've only run a couple of courses from Ron Bortz, but I've noticed a theme: tough orienteering. He forces you to look for features rather than a control. At French Creek, that meant very slow, careful navigation to avoid losing contact.

Overall, OK. Two controls were buried in green. Though the direction of approach may have made a difference, I've never seen so many people wandering around controls.

Note
Damn. Results in today. Looks like everyone had some troubles. I'm thinking I should run up to my class (red) in two weeks at FC East.

Felt like I had to do something. Got to the track, and in the second lap felt a little woozy, so that ended that. Coughing like a consumptive.
