Wednesday special up olave hill rd, right at upper sturt rd along park boundary past blue cottage, Melville house , then back along gully. Felt ploddy, wheezy in cold air and lots of coughing but good to be out in fresh air and felt better once had done climb.

Loop around pone forest legs finally feeling more normal but still coughing quite a bit. Missed yoga and weights as had planned to do motivation a bit low.

Belair run. First run in 6 days still sick tho slowly mending so felt very slow puffed sweaty and pathetic legs. Grateful pace was slow. Callum was delighted to run again, finally. Really tired now! Onwards to health!

From school up olave hill to upper sturt rd then west to nookoo track down to valley and back home . Trying to push harder, felt reasonable. No sign of pedometer I dropped Wednesday.

Did scatter o at Belair summer series. Last minute as was helping and unsure if I would get a run. Well set. Hard to pick optimal 13 controls. Spent first at least5 minutes wandering school grounds thrown by control description of tall tower I had no recollection of. Wasnt even matching buillding a to map to begin with . Talk about brain fade! After that all fine, although kept counting and recounting controls. Fun!

Belair run with good turnout. Up valley to redwoods, south up 2 ridges to fence line, back along this to start. Really fun. Callum now exhausted. He's too competitive and tries to race Simon !

Left car near scotch college and rode rest of way into town and return for a meeting. Love being out of car and on bike!

Long ish run with Callum - Olave Hill rd, R at Upper sturt rd in to park, followed park fence to Melville house then back along long gully. Sustained myself and Callum on the abundent blackberries.Yum! Callum tells me it was hot, and so we could only travel at hot day pace (plod). Somewhere on this run I lost the pedometer I was carrying for a work 10 000 steps walking challenge. oops. Will be making up some figures.

Was really tired when I came home from alfie's acupuncture with chiro and was way past Belair run time, but Callum ran out to meet the car, and told me he was desperate to go running and try and find the gang. So we ran to usual meeting spot then up creek to steps, up these to qjd and back down thro adventure playground. Woke me up and while we didn't sniff out others we had a good time.

run 1:20:00 [3] 11.25 km (7:07 / km) +215m 6:29 / km

Glorious run ( albeit slow, looking at /km rate!) with Callum in rain sodden Belair. From home up Queens Jubilee to tap, down to redwoods then up one more ridge to Melville house track, then right and home along gully. Some stopping for us to sample blackberries chilled and fresh washed by rain. Beautiful! Stopped under a tree at one point for a chilly and windy shower to pass through. Did a time trail on QJ from Tilti track to where road flattens out next to track to fire tower. Time 5:28 for about 1 km steady uphill ( about what I used to do I think when I used to do this about 7 + years ago).
