Longish loop in park up behind lower waterfall and up to Queens Jubilee Rd, with Callum, Billy and then bumped onto my friend Vanessa who joined us on her bike. Was out for much longer but we had some stops and diversions. Lovely brisk morning to be out in park.
Run in Belair with 4 legged boys ( Callum and Billy) strapped to waist. NIce morning, light rain. Later rode up to MB to discuss chain slipping - they had a further theory that the part inside the rear wheel hub was wearing out, and needed replacing. So I left bike there, and walked home with my shopping. I dream of a bike which can be ridden up hills!! I have this awful feeling that a new bike would end up cheaper :(
Belair run - redwoods, single track up to Saddle hill rd with crew, then Jenny, Callum and I went past dam to Queen Jubilee and over to Steps, back down through valley and home via golf course.
Belair steps loop but starting at school and finishing at home, with Callum and Billy. Light misty rain started as I headed up to the lower waterfall and continued much of the run. It was divine for running in with my doggy company. Seem to only have one speed, and that definitely a plod.
Ride to and from Noarlunga. Very nice but quite time consuming and not home until after 8 pm! Broke up ride on way in as had observation session at Happy Valley. Need sleeker tyres I think ( not to mention better adjusted chain that doesn't slip on hills).
45 minute loop around home, then later biked to and from town leaving car at Mitcham where I had dropped Tarn for the bus. Very enjoyable time watching cross country in the parklands on route both directions. Amazing watching a fit galloping horse at close range.
More walk than run. Planned to run but kept finding myself walking. Callum and doggy friend Billy didn't seem to mind as it was so hot. Nice to jump in pool after!
Steps loop with gang plus going to and from home. Pretty warm.

Time approx. To and from a work meeting at town having driven from work at Morphett Vale with bike in back and left car near Scotch College. SO nice to be out of car and on bike and in back streets and no town parking hassles.
Olvae Hill Rd loop with Calum about 50 minutes, then pick up friends dog to give him a run ( with stops to play at a reserve and drink at Playford lake ( so not a very continous 1 hr 20). Had a swim when I arrived home!
Missed first Bridgewater run as headed up to Lucky Hit rd to view a horse for sale for Tarn (unfortunately not suitable), so grabbed a run in Belair later in afternoon. Again Callum lagged1. he does not like heat 2. he is getting too fat but I don't know where his stash of food is!! Callum seems to have 3 people running him now - this day he had a run with me, then Bryn, then Tarn (!!!) (later note - this has happened 4 days in a row now!!)
Up Upper Sturt rd inside park fence to firetrack up from vol centre ( forgotten its name) back along creek. Callum not liking the heat and really lagging.
From school with Callum, up Olave Hill Rd,east along Upper Sturt Rd to top of Melville Gully Rd, through long gully to entrance, up Laffers to Blackwood. Out for 1 hr 45 but spent 20 to 25 minutes walking when taking a ph call.
