Quick run up the valley with some interval sections (6 minutes total) to volunteer centre and return. Short time as needed to get to friends at 8.30 for our shared garage sale. (Not a great way to get money but got rid of some stuff and quite a fun day. )

Unusually I didn't feel like running so didn't . Rode Alfie and so Callum got to run around up there. Nice day.

Up valley, most turned back at Karka , then 4 of us to redwoods, then J & I up single track , across dam track back down QJD. Bush looked and smelt great after rain and light was golden. Lovely evening. Started tired but improved.

Had unrealistic idea that my new chain and cluster would settle down but they didn't. Chain slipped a lot. Pushed bike up all but gentlest inclines. Time longer but just logging riding not pushing.

Very short pre work run. Decided was too hot to ride and slipping chain too annoying.

Had bike serviced yesterday and new chain and cluster put on. Chain kept slipping up hills so frustratingly ended up walking bike up steep bits. Then had to work extra hard for rest of ride to make up some time. First hot cycle of summer.

First did a run from school round the pine forest and return with a friend who just taken up running. So pleased for her, she's loving it! Then went up Suffolk track ( saw a snake) then back along park boundary track. Pretty warm today.

10 mins faster, 25 mins warm up cool down and recovery minutes. Up valley in park. Fresh morning.

Came back a bit later for the exciting event of Fern and Tyson's wedding. Quite cool and a few spots of rain but sun shone for the ceremony.

Up boundary fence to Kaloola track, down this, back along valley. Stopped to gather pine cones for kindling ( strange to need a fire in November) then walked rest of way.

Weights etc at gym. As we were leaving ( I was with Leith and Tarn) we saw long queues of people waiting to get an autograph from an, apparently, famous weight lifter.

Pyramid intervals up valley in park before work. Hadn'tdone this for a while and my legs felt like lead. Sweated and puffed more than I normally would for a short run so I must've done something! Callum worked hard too.

With Lauren from Crafers , through Picadilly, swamp rd, greenhill rd, gully rd, past mt lofty golf course to old mt barker rd back to Crafers. A crisp morning through the fertile hills. Bit tired at end as didn't take any gels etc but a lovely run.

Turners olave park boundary loop walking at start to forage for Boof. Bush smelt fantastic after the light rain, and light misty rain fell on top of Olave hill.saw a great big male roo up there who hopped sedately on a track parallel to the road, just ahead of us, then he jumped a fence and hopped down a driveway.

After staying up late reading last night I was really sleepy after a busy day at work and felt tired all the way home. Bike is really due for maintenance or even some air! Wind seemed to be against me so a slow ride home.

Saw Tyson heading off on his own as I pulled up and with unfounded confidence presumed I'd catch him so didn't honk. Never saw him again. Felt heavy legged up valley. Had a stretch then we ( c and I) went up steps, left at railway along track to QJD and back via adventure playground. Short on time so that was enough.

Had a lesson on Alfie - first in ages and decided to log part of it as I was working hard to be supple and strong in core and really became quite sweaty! More than on my run. Really, really enjoyed this. Great to see Sandy ( instructor ) and it was nice to hang out with A. Callum exhausted himself trotting behind, going round and round the arena instead of watching from the shade. Silly dog!
