Very pleasant run although sun felt warm towards the end.

Stefano's fun o exercise in Blackwood forest. First we had to draw map and controls on blank paper, and then find them. I could've done with a little bit more detail on my drawing but was mostly ok. Legs felt good.

Colonel light gardens short course with Leith. He was not motivated at first but became enthusiastic once he'd corrected me a couple of times as he was paying better attention

Run to Belair then short run with J up the valley and back. Prior to this we did Stefanos bearing exercise on the oval. Best was 1 Pole off worse was 13 ! The two 13s were diagonally opposite each other.. fun exercise. Felt like an egg and spoon race.

run (Nopeet) 34:16 [3] 7.0 km (4:54 / km)

Nopeet Loop with Callum. Bit slower without the pack ( didn't feel like vomiting at the end like last time) but tried harder than on a average run. Walked home from the finish line.

Running from bottom of Woolcock road where I was dropped off, through Scott creek to Bradwood oval to watch soccer. There were lots of Roos ears just visible above the long grass in the healthy looking paddocks, still green.

Plodding run from my Aunts at Kingston, south of Hobart to the beach and along the Alum cliffs track. Lots of dogs on the dog friendly section of the beach, all looking happy to be hanging out there. Legs felt a bit heavy. Planned to run back up the hill but Ruth was keen to pick me up and show me a few more sites of her new home town. Very lovely spot. Mt Wellington ever present in the distance.

Maria Island 12 hour Rogaine, east coast Tasmania. This was as nice as you would expect. So many wombats but no devils this time.

Belair run on a warm morning. It's amazing the park is still green mid November- such an unusual year. We both felt the heat, Route was up the valley to Melville house track, up and over to Redwoods, up to QJD and back down.

So tired for some reason today that I put myself to bed for a few minutes when I arrived home. Thus only had time for tiny bit of yoga while dinner cooking.

Went up to the golf course to look at the awesome super moon . Feel like I should've planned a night walk or run. No torches necessary. It's obvious and accurate to say ive never seen the moon so bright!

Bridgewater run. Callum had a couple of toilet stops early on and after the second he took off with Simon and John, so I had to work hard to catch up to the group following clean up. Prob good for me although legs were a bit tired from yesterday's Sturt gorge outing. We went up to Woorabinda again then old Mt Barker road then a few of us back via Golf links rd. Felt pretty reasonable once warmed up.
Then I attended the school fair with L then Rogaine volunteers afternoon at Fox creek wines - plenty of pizza this year- then back to the school fair. We have a new Champion in the family - Leith won 'Day on the Dene' bottle flipping champion. He won chocolates and a $50 movie voucher!

Jenny's Sturt Gorge tour. Really enjoyed this. From home through Craigburn past the dam then downstream to the flood wall then down to the waterfall. I was last there about 1992. Brought back nice memories of lunchtime runs from FMC. Then back up Magpie Gully to home. Stefano ran up the steep slopes like a mountain goat, probably not surprisingly.
Callum and I both tired after this.

Retracing last nights run looking for my compass which fell out of my pocket. No sign of it. Legs tired and didn't appreciate the running bits.

7 km time trial loop. Callum gave me a rocket jet blast at the start, so first km was 4:11. Legs felt weak but I guess that was not unexpected working harder than usual.
Up hill split was 2:23. ( Callum free at this point).
Wished I hadn't eaten so much before( late lunch), felt a bit queasy.
Checked my time frrom last time. I/ we improved a bit. Was 33:27 but we also stopped about 10 sec short of proper finish last time.

rogaine 2:57:19 [3] 17.5 km (10:08 / km)

Minigaine with Leith. We started well for about 1/2 hour. Then he died a bit with a stitch so we settled into a steady walk for a while. After about an hour of this he picked up again and in the last bit we did lots of running and Leith finished very strongly. Was fairly happy with my plan although was tossing between 2 40s on the flat and an 80 on a hill in anstey hill park and think I made the wrong call by going up the hill. This meant we had to drop an 80 pointer which would've only added an extra km. The many busy roads were a pain at times but mostly it was a very enjoyable event.

Joined training at Belair later than the others so I paired with myself. I was quite good company. I had no glasses or compass so I bumbled around a bit. Gave up when it became too dark to read the map near 14. It was a superb spring evening.

With both dogs so a bit stop start. Up the valley, up Bessa blocks over railway, back via QJD . Nice run. Ready to try something longer.
