Saturday Oct 22 #

Stafano's training at Flagstaff hill reserve. This was really fun and I was fairly happy with nav although overshot 20 and in general got a bit slower in the last half. Route choices not always wisest but got a good look at the scrub.

Later had a lovely walk around the forest and Frank smiths with the dogs. Leith was at the forest with about 30 other kids having a massive nerf gun war. They had great fun.

Then another sedate walk with friends in the evening in Watiparinga reserve so lots of fresh air today!

Friday Oct 21 #

Run around the forest - very slow. My legs were very sore from last nights sprint o at apex park. Dogs enjoyed it.

Walk to gym and back while boys at soccer training. Nice way to spend Friday evening!

Rowing, cross trainer and resistance machines. Felt a bit weak but good to do.

Thursday Oct 20 #

orienteering (Sprint relay) 23:00 [3] 3.68 km (6:15 / km)

Sefano's sprint relay. Teamed with Jenny. We each did 3 legs. We did same courses and similar pace to Meredith and Des so this kept us on our toes. It was really fun and I tried a lot harder than if I was doing a course on my own. Helped to know the area.
Think I was out the a couple of minutes longer but I forgot my watch for the very beginning.

So tired this evening couldn't keep up a run. This was one small loop in Belair with dogs then walking last bit of way to Bradwood oval Bradbury to watch twilight soccer. It was freezing up there!

Sunday Oct 16 #

Wet loop in Belair with both dogs. It rained fairly steadily for the whole run. We did a loop down the western end then went up to railway to east of echo tunnel and up to QJD. Then down to redwoods and up and over to Melville house track, back via valley.
Felt tired and lethargic and thinking I should take iron supplements.
