orienteering (Narrinyeri training) 1:55:00 [1] 5.3 km (21:42 / km)

Walking 2 of the 5 training courses Jenny set, with Leith. Lovely area, looking good after some rain. Great opportunity for L to practice harder nav without any pressure and I enjoyed it too. With my new reading glasses on the map looked great, really clear.

Trampoline 25:00 [3]

At Bounce. Jumped over the low walls for first time and onto low platform. Now probably as good as the average 6 year old there. I'm improving!

With Callum in lovely morning sunshine, up boundary track to eastern end of park next to upper Sturt rd. Back via Redwoods. 2 x sets of pyramid intervals. We were both pretty puffed at the end!

Olave hill loop back via Railway Dam and golf course with Bryn and dogs in late afternoon sunshine. I was tired from this morning's intervals and Bryn had to wait for me often.

Left work late after very full day and missed Belair run. Ended up just walking dogs on the golf course.

Went to bed feeling off and then woke up feeling a bit off. Late start day at work so took both boys for a run. Winding way up to top of QJD and back via Redwoods, continuing to feel off. Would've been slower if not for the significant effects of the Bear engine pulling me along.

Went into work continuing to feel yuk. Skipped o in the evening and unusually spent it on the sofa instead .

Commute to work from Blackwood where I'd parked. Planned to go to Pilates at 630 pm on way home but left work too late.

Lunchtime swim. Bit slow and unco today. Started @ 1 minute/ lap but got a bit slower. Garmin recorded distance as less , perhaps as thick cloud? Used number of laps as distance.

Before work run with dogs up the valley. Was going to go up Nookoo spur but turned around when I saw a stroppy looking pair of emus. One with his front feathers all raised up in some sort of display. I decided I didn't need to go past him to find out what that particular display meant.

Callum always looks so sad when I leave for work, I wish he could come too.

All quite smooth up to 13. Route to 14 took an age finding a legal train line crossing point, then lost focus and looked for 14 right in the creek rather where it was in the map! Eventually read the map and found it - it was quite obvious. Then headed off across the yellow heading straight for 16, forgetting all about 15, but I didn't realise until the end. I'm getting new glasses on Friday as current ones aren't strong enough so fingers crossed that might help me read the map better. Need a way to keep focus more consistently too.
