With Bryn and the pointy eared lads up to the lower waterfall via echo tunnel and back via steps. NB steps have been cleared up a bit.

Not much energy,needed some stops, but great to be out.

Late afternoon run - this was like running in a painting : with the late afternoon sun glowing on the tree trunks and brilliant yellow wattles against the deep grey eastern sky. Jogging loop with Callum up Moorowie track back via adventure playground. Nice to enjoy the winter creeks running.

Still really tired and a bit achy.

To the Redwoods and back. Nice to do a Belair night run after a break, although my legs were very sore for some reason.

Still not feeling 100%. stopped prednisolone but keeping up seretide. 2 puffs 2 x day ( for future reference.)

Wednesday Aug 23 #

Wednesday morning loop up valley up hill back down Melville gully track in rainy conditions with both dogs. Felt good running but coughed when I stopped.

Quite tired still.
Started on 1 teaspoon/ day tumeric regime. Supposed to be anti inflammatory among other things so no harm trying.

orienteering (Training ) 25:00 [3]

Junior training with Leith at Belair. Control flow . B is working hard to make everyone concentrate. Easy sprint course with questions to answer at each control and emphasis on moving and exit direction. So 3 things to hold in mind at once. About the right level for me.

Tuesday Aug 22 #

'5km' loop with Bear before work, only Garmin said this is 4.4 km. Seems to be a gps black hole at times on the first little bit of this run : trace picks up from down the road.
Anyway this was nice. Felt good but coughed crazily when I stopped.

By the fire at home instead of going to Pilates. Noticing I am very tired and headachey by end of day at work.

Monday Aug 21 #

Short loop with Callum after work. Across the swampy golf course, up Moorowie track back via adventure playground and golf course. Lots of water and frogs about, not to mention Roos enjoying the still evening. Classic early spring evening in Belair.

Legs felt quite good although I don't quite have a full set of lungs yet. Tired after first full day at work in a week.
