Run up the valley with Callum making the most of a cool morning, given the heat to come this week.

orienteering (Sprint the hills) 54:50 [3] 8.4 km (6:32 / km)

3 courses. 1 a@ Blackwood forest, 2 @ Heathfield.
This was a perfect remedy to clear the cobwebs after a busy day at Tarn's 21st yesterday.

Dispappointed to make 2 mistakes of perhaps 40-50 seconds on the second course at Heathfield but pretty happy overall.

Lessons learned - learn all control descriptions to help look in the right spot in the middle of the circle and plan from the end of the leg back.

Heathfield was a really fun map and I always enjoy Blackwood forest ( and the short drive there!)

Belair run with Jenny up boundary track back down gully road. Beautiful evening, air felt fresh and sweet after the rain.
