Run from my friends place at Seacliff up to Marino lighthouse then did a loop around that park ended up doing a bit of terrain running trying to find a way out. Back via esplanade. Started in strong wind, then pouring rain, then finished in hot sunshine. The patches of coastal scrub in the gullies were lovely and the rain smelt awesome on the hot dry ground.

Not a good day for paddle boarding which had been plan A. Watched a movie instead.

Main entrance, Up Moroowie track back via Adventure playground. Garmin said 4.2 km and that 1 km took 18 minutes which sounded a bit glitchy. I felt good running.

Warm morning run with Callum in Belair up the valley and up the hill back via Melville valley.

Wednesday Jan 10, 2018 #

orienteering (Wednesday night training ) 51:00 [3] 6.9 km (7:23 / km)

Flinders Uni map exercises. I did 2 drawing the map- 1 went well and the other I wandered the wrong courtyards a bit - eventually realizing there are in fact 4 courtyards on a diagonal each a bit different from the others.
I also did 3 map memory ones, which I found a bit easier, although I did peek at the map 2 x for one leg, mostly I managed.

Lunch swim. Lane to myself although only a 25 m one. Felt pretty good.

Before work run with Callum up the valley to volunteers centre and back past the railway dam. There was mist on the dam this morning.

In the cooler weather a 9 am start suited our small group of 5 ( it suited me!)
We had a lovely run, running direct to Mylor and back by Aldgate valley road and Steve's mystery track.
