Nice loop in the park about 9km. With Callum and Roo, letting them pick the pace in the heat , which for Roo means run and pull hard then stop dead. I was a bit nervous in the hot windy conditions aware from the cfs website there was a fire at Cherryville but no sign of smoke when I had views to Mt Lofty and it was nice to get out.

I feel so fortunate to have a means of exercising on a work day in hot weather. With Ali another OT. We are thinking of making it an Early intervention team event on a Friday lunchtime. I thought we could call our group Friday Floaters, she thought Friday Frizzles ( referring to post swim hair!) Anyway this was pleasant, had our own lanes despite the noisy Waldorf swimming carnival next to us in the adjacent main pool.
