W 45 A at Paradise. 3.7 direct distance, watch said 4.33 km . I was pretty happy with this run, I tried to run hard, only 1 wobble.

rogaine (setting) 2:30:00 [1]

Rogaine setting, east of Hallet. 1 loop about 1.5 - 2 hours, second loop 1 hour with some running to make it back to the meeting spot. Lovely terrain this afternoon.

Cruisy ( legs were tired) run from Aldinga Arts Eco village along the creek to Pt Willunga then along the cliff top a little way and return. Beautiful still and clear morning and their were a pair of dolphins swimming at the waters edge at the beach. A nice way to start the working day!

I took Callum and Roo for a run in Belair after work, leaving home just near sunset. I ran up Pole road then down the valley as far as adventure playground. It was soon dark and part way up Queen's Jubilee drive my torch failed suddenly. So I was a long way from home in complete darkness. I decided to short cut down the steps track down from the railway - had to walk this. The worse part was Pole Road with no lights, luckily only one car came. Realise how much my ( now dead) phone acts as a back up and gives me a sense of security on runs.

I felt quite good on this particularly the early bits.

Then packed up and drove to Aldinga to stay with my friend Kylie at the Arts eco village.

A steep up and down and up and down run/ walk. From Anne's house at The Basin, up the tracks to One tree hill, down the long way to Fern tree gully, up the '1000' steps ( mostly walking as they were steep, and also the sign said no running allowed!) then back down by Tobruk Track back to Mountain highway. It was a still and foggy morning, lovely running through the tall stringybarks. It was interesting to see how much bigger the sulphur crested cockatoos were compared with Adelaide hills ones.

Now back home in Adelaide. My phone which became a bit damp in my pocket on Friday has completely died and again I realise how much I depend on it! Will I even wake up in the morning for example without the alarm? What events are in my calendar that I will accidentally miss? Not to mention having any means of communication!
