Run up to Crafers west with Callum on rather stiff post orienteering legs, then had a walk with my cousin ( and a blackberry feast) then ran back again.

Long course Flinders uni north. Not too bad for flow but certainly saw better route choices afterwards, with many small ways of saving time, with some input from course setter Simon. ( Plus looking at the map standing still and seeing more gaps). It is amazing though how I can feel really tired from work on a Friday drag myself to o ( well really today it was about 200 m out of my usual way home) and then find myself woken up and happy after running around absorbed in a map!

First swim in a while and I felt weak and without a good rhythm. Nice to be back in the pool.

Run in Belair with Roo. I was planning a shorter loop but it was so nice to run in the bush after the recent rain that we kept on going. Lots of others out this morning.

Evalin’s sprint camp knockout race. I hadn’t done one of these before and it was lots of fun. It was good discipline for me to keep up thinking momentum and flow. 4 separate races. Mostly happy with route choices.

I’ve guessed the total time.

Day finished on a low with needing to evacuate to get out of the emergency area for the nearby fire and beautiful Scott Creek conservation park burnt out. :( :(. :(
