Snap sprint race 3 Belair. A fun sprint set by Bridget. The not fun bit was running into a fence and flipping over getting my legs caught in tight wire like a kangaroo. It gave me such a shock. Luckily the wire loosened but it cut me through my gaiters. Felt a bit shaken I was very careful and tentative afterwards but was glad to finish without any more mishaps.

50 m pool today. It was lovely to get in the water after being so hot.

Western loop in Belair, feeling a bit sore got to about 5 km then needed to walk. It was nice to get out though.

Ebike commute. Walked around o training at Ayliffes reserve then road home through the reserve then Eden hills which was much nicer than up Shepherds hill road. Glute sore after cycling.

Note - went to podiatrist today who recommended new shoes to avoid rubbing the inflamed area. Still avoiding running due to sore glute. Went for a walk instead.

Lunch time swim 25 m pool.
Skipped Harriers tonight to try and rest all my sore bits.

Sunday Feb 12 #

Missed Bridgewater run as my bursitis was very sore as was my glute, despite mostly resting yesterday. Did a slow shorter jog with Roo from home. Spent the rest of the day mowing, cleaning, doing laundry and Rogaining/life admin. Still very sore tonight which is frustrating and getting me down :(
