The training options for this week did not give me many choices I could work into my 1 hour to max 1½ hour morning routine on the treadmill. So I went back a few weeks to the "true speedwork" routine.
This was a warmup for 15:00 @ a 8:27 pace (7.1 MPH). Then eight intervals of a half mile @ 6:19 pace (9.5 MPH) with a 3:00 recover walk in between @ 15:00 pace (4.0 MPH). Then a 15:00 cool down again @ 8:27 pace (7.1 MPH).
As with the first time I did this workout, the fist two intervals were probably the hardest until I found a groove. Then the last too might have been a little bit more difficult than the rest, but not much.
