Amazing that each sport has such a different impact on muscles! You would think that trekking and trail running would condition my feet, but boy did I feel them last night on the squash court! Furthermore, I was worried about my groin and how it would react. I made sure I warmed up well and stretched significantly. Still there certainly was some soreness after. To my delight, it felt fine the next morning! Timing and touch were pathetic, plus serve return felt foreign. As the night progressed, I actually made some descent shots to keep rallies going. Lesson to take from last night... Warm up with a purpose, continue to strengthen groin, if feet continue to burn..consider new footwear. Relax between points, return to T, watch opponent. Confidence! Confidence! Confidence!
