A couple of laps up steep hill on north side of queen anne then loop around to city overview and back to SPU with a sprint finish to the end.
Physical: felt strong and motivated all run. Able to maintain a sub-7 min/mile pace for last 3/4 mile - that's new. On same run last June, I was able to maintain 8:30 at best on this loop in that last section.
Mental: it took a bit to get out and go, but I felt good once I got started. Still would rather be on my bike.

Off Plan: 4x2 AO, 2 sets, 1 RBI, 5 RBS, 1x15 Z3 (I kind of just made this up but set goals before ride started).
Physical: Felt solid and strong. Went way harder than I had planned but everything grooved in nicely through ride and felt very strong all ride. Best average speed on rollers for 1.5 hour workout was another goal - got it.
Mental: Pretty good. Not great motivation to get started, but once I did, it was ok. Great song hit at 7th and 8th intervals and that lit me up a bit to go really hard. Hurt but felt good. Hope to be "back on track" with a little less work this week ... hopefully.

Bummer. Didn't get to do willy nilly or chilly hilly but we did close on the house!! Good use of time this past week and some more chores checked off on today.

Felt good after a full nights sleep and some recovery time (mentally). Felt like running so I did a nice 4.5 mile run at Z4/RPE7-8. Then ran up hill 3 times and went fairly hard on that. Felt good.

Work still ruling. Just rode and didn't really worry about a plan. Good to get on the bike and make it an hour today. Still all mental - just no energy to push. Need more sleep too. Did a couple of intervals up to Z4/Z5 for a total of about 8 minutes over course of hour. Some sustained Z3 as well (15 mins). Legs are fine.

Physical: Felt really good today. Legs rocked the first 2 sets with no problem above 110rpm 20 on, 20 off. Then kicked it up a bit for the last two sets for 20 on, 10 off. Finished strong. Lungs hurting.
Mental: Almost bailed on the workout, but stuck to it and glad we did. Did ok during ride. Not thrilled but not bummed either. Pretty neutral.

Physical: Legs felt pretty good but a little flat at the high end after a few intervals. Finished 4th set at 10 sec RBI. Felt fine.
Mental: Still having a bit of trouble getting into the workouts. However, I did get excited towards the end of the intervals and the last half hour. That felt pretty good. I think I'm running a little low on tolerance for indoor stuff.

Physical: Legs felt great considering the past two days. Kicked up intensity for some sections, but overall, just enjoyed myself and rode hard when I felt it ... easy when I felt that.
Mental: super excited to be out riding. Fun to explore some backroads on MI to get to know our new neighborhood a bit.

Vashon outside ride - as hard as we wanted!!
Physical: Absolutely great day on the bike. Legs and body felt excellent. Rode hard. Rode hard against Manny on a couple of hills and had absolutely no problems pulling away without working too hard. Very pleased with condition after hit.
Mental: Psyched to get outside on such a sunny day ... in February!

Physical: Legs felt fine.
Mental: brain just didn't kick in tonight. Possibly the worst ride of the HIT cycle. I did manage to finish the workout, but not with must gusto. Did 3rd set at 10sec intervals. Sometimes going extra hard gets me engaged. Didn't happen. Stopped after intervals were completed.
