Route: Redmond Ridge - W Snoqualmie - Tualco - Ben Howard - Old Pipeline - Bollenbaugh - Woods Creek - S Lk Roesiger - Menzel Lk - Granit Falls - Carpenter (wrong turn) - S Lk Roesiger - Woods Creek - Dubuque - Snohomish Trail - Snohomish - Monroe - Tualco - W Snoq - Red Ridge
Physical: Went hard from start. Felt great. Finished very strong for me. I don't think I have any trouble riding hard on the flats!
Mental: A little tired/intimidated at the prospect of hurting but no problem going when the time comes. Thought ride was a good showing of improvement in fitness given the effort today. A little nervous I was starting out too hard, but it turned out to be fine with plenty left for the end. Not easy to choose pain though. Essentially did 95% of this as a solo TT with CD drafting and me lapping on hills if I got ahead. She did an excellent job at the front in a couple of stretches towards the end of the day that helped keep the pace up. Absolutely killed myself on Novelty Hill climb to finish. Z5 for 9 minutes at end of ride. Lungs literally ached afterwards.

Route: Mercer Island normal route CCW 1 lap.
Physical: New strain/pull in right quad. Don't feel it on the bike but pain at other times walking or stretching. DIdn't seem to cause any problems. Legs felt great tonight on entire ride.
Mental: Excellent. Starting to get a little colder and darker!!!
