Artesani park 5k. 30th/~300 overall, pancake flat course with no mile markers at all, which screwed me up. Definitely went out too slow and negative split. I wore my hrm for the first time in a while and got a bit psyched out because I was at 187 for long stretches but still perfectly fine... didn't really push it, it was pretty mediocre from a racing point of view.
Really hot. I've only run three times since getting back from Europe, so it's a good no-longer-fat baseline time. I'm going to do the 4 week plan and aim for 19:30 as a Boston farewell. Ordered a forerunner 305 yesterday so the level of detail/nerdiness should go up exponentially.

Should have warmed up a bit harder and probably cooled down a bit longer but it was hot and we just wanted to go home. Lungs were fine during the race except for a couple sections along Memorial with truck fumes.
