4 of the 7 hills from Sarah's - gorgie, craiglockhart, braids, blackford, arthur's seat and back to gorgie. Quite pleased with this run. Kept a good pace going on the hills. Got an annoying blister on right heel.

Cycle warm up/down 40:00 [2]
slept:4.0

Along track from Linn of Dee to White Bridge. Passed through a cloud of midges on the way back which stuck to my legs. Over 100 bites counted. Even cycling isn't safe from them!
5 PM

Hill Run 3:03:52 [3] 15.75 mi (11:40 / mi) +929m 9:52 / mi

White Bridge up Glen Geusachan then climbed Monadh Mor and Beinn Bhrotain. Had post night shift tiredness but legs felt ok. Very wet and boggy in the glen made for difficult running. Misty on the tops. Was hoping to run the whole route but walked many of the climbs - had a rucsack on and didn't feel like pushing too hard. Look a direct line off second munro which was a mistake as I ran into deep heather with hidden rocks and holes. Looked back near the bottom and saw an obvious path! Right calf a bit sore again.
