Steady run around aberdeen streets. Windy and cool conditions. Legs felt better than yesterday.

Trail run round blackhall forest then up goauch and scolty. Trying to break in new shoes before Ben race. Legs felt pretty tired the whole way and another blister developed on right foot. Not enough room for toes to spread. Might try x-talons instead which would mean buying another pair!

Decided to try the midnight run again during break time around nearby pitches and old running track. Felt better this time taking the steady approach but 3rd and 5th miles were run at 5:45 pace around the track. Felt ok afterwards even by end of shift.

Extended the usual Countesswells route by a couple of miles. Didn't feel like pushing too hard so took it steady to get night shifts out of my system keeping hr around 160bpm. Felt pretty smooth and relaxed.

Cults, Foggieton, Countesswells, Hazelhead. Felt nackered with no motivation after 12 hours at work but went out anyway and felt much better. Felt smooth and easy but calfs really stiff afterwards. Maybe need longer warm up or get a massage?
