Crisp clear but cold morning at -9. Headed out with an old map of the valley that Phatty used for his "Hellrunner" event a few years ago and set out 12 controls between the tennis courts and the works yard with some clues. That way anyone who is bored and wants to go wander through the valley - mostly off the trail and not near people can get a map from me and do so. I really made it so Mrs. Huet and Elise could do it. My map is rudimentary - as is my course but it's something to do - not in a crowd. Although there were more people on the trail today than I have ever seen in 25 years here! I had a great outing and it did warm up a bit.
